An Independent Moderate Individual, Inc. is organized to support and strengthen moderate individuals in a complex and often polarized world. Supporting the private sector in a world that is increasingly controlled by government is the way to protect the liberty of the truly sovereign individual. The AIMI organization and the 7 sectors (Financial Services, Legal Services, Education/Training, Insurance Services, Home/Car Services, Political Services and Content Production) will assist the moderate individual and permit them to live a dignified life in a complex society where basic centrist virtues and values are shared .

The Marketplace

There are about 40 million moderate independent voters in the United States. These individuals are some of the most thoughtful individuals in the society. They usually appreciate and understand the reasoning heard from the fringe factions on the left and the right. They are moderate in their ideas regarding social and economic justice. They are in the middle with regard to the private realm and public sector spheres. Currently they are defined by the voices from the left and the right. AIMI believes the moderate individual should define the left and the right.

As moderate voters shift slightly left or right, they are the individuals who determine the outcome of general elections. They are not supported by organized political parties and are therefore not represented in the statehouses or in the U.S. Congress. They are generally not well represented because they do not march in the streets. They are moderates. They prefer to use our existing republican institutions. AIMI believes that a private sector organisation (not marches in the street) is the best way to support moderate individuals in the American society.

On tenth of one percent of the 40 million moderates is 40,000 individuals. AIMI initially seeks to attract this percentage of the U.S. population of moderates through reasoned and pragmatic marketing. 40,000 times $100 annually equals $4,000,000 revenue per year. This level of revenue is sufficient to establish and manage the AIMI organization and the 7 sectors of the broader organization. Advertizing from private sector partners may also prove to be a source of significant revenues. The initial start­up budget is estimate to be

$400,000 for the first year. Year 2 and 3 expenses are estimated to be $2 million and $3 million respectively – with most of the increase from year 1 due to the number of managers hired (seven in year 2) and the rise in the level of the marketing budget. Ultimately, the 7 sectors should generate sufficient revenue to sustain the headquarters management and overhead expenses.

AIMI will be created, organized and developed to assure internal systems are scalable; so as the number of members increases, or should the number of members reach 10 percent of the total potential marketplace, the organization will be able to grow steadily.

The Business Strategy

The organization and the 7 sectors will fulfill the goal that it “should be a little easier” for the moderate individual to make it in this society. With their faith and hearts in the right place and their moderate cultural values (faith, hard work, personal responsibility, self­sacrifice ) leading the way, the moderate individual will promote those ideals that will work for most of the individuals in our society. Moderates are attune to the common good and those laws that are best able to secure their safety and happiness. The organization and the 7 sectors will assure that the moderate individual does not have to march in the streets to have the influence they deserve. The 7 sectors will provide the moderate individual with the support and the time­saving assistance they need to spend more time with their families and their community. The 7 sectors will provide the moderate individual with the entrepreneurial drive to become a leader and a creator of wealth in our society. The combination of corporate support and the 7 sector services will provide strength to moderate individuals and their family. The 7 sector organizations will be operated to provide significant support to the individual, while balancing the interests of the AIMI shareholders. The corporate culture will be one of supporting the individual and the private sector, and then supporting the shareholders. Sale of 7 sector services, and the revenue developed, will support the continued growth of this private sector enterprise. Belief in the cultural and political basis for the corporation (and the 7) will be the attraction for the moderate individual to join. The business strategy of the organization is to offer the moderate individual the service of promoting their cultural principles and giving them the political influence they deserve in a republic. Understanding the cultural, educational and political basis for the organization will enhance the attraction for many individuals. Revenues will develop from the various means of projecting their cultural values. The business strategy is to build loyalty to the brand based upon the social and political goodwill of the enterprise. People purchase goods and services to enhance their self esteem and to fulfill their view of themselves (self­actualization). AIMI will more directly sell the projection of their moderate cultural values to build their political and societal influence.

Ultimately, the business strategy of AIMI is to develop the ability of individuals to appreciate and utilize their faith in their cultural values for the benefit of themselves, their family, their society and the common good ­­ Organizing the shared cultural values of the American moderate.
