Most moderates see the necessity for the release of our human spirit within a competitive and free marketplace. Moderates support a center-right coalition and policies to protect our individualism and our private realm. Consistent with our individual spirit, Mr. Donald Trump is offering policies for our country as a free market, free speech nationalist. Mr. Trump and the Republican Party are offering our citizens a contrasting policy to the Democrat Party policies of central planning, increased private realm regulation and even some government imposed socialism. Mr. Trump is offering our citizens policies of individual character, individual opportunity, subsidiarity and reduced political correctness. The Republicans also recognize the need for a safety net. This is refreshing to many U.S. citizens who are unhappy with the inability of the political establishment to control fiscally, monetarily, regulatory, trade and socially statist and leftist policies.
The conservative and nationalist policies of Mr. Trump offer a small step toward conservative republican values to the moderate citizens of the United States. His rhetoric and policy pronouncements are raising concerns among progressives/socialists. As our Constitution requires, legislatures will continue to protect our individualism and private realm, determine our laws, tax levels and the level of central control and subsidiarity in our government. As Mr. Trump completes his first term we will see where our people and our constitutional republic lead our country.
