The USA is in a wonderful position to compete in a global economy. We have private cultural values and institutions that promote good character. Our values are emulated around the world. We have a good private and public education system that builds knowledge and character. We have a political republic that respects human choice and majority rule (for the most part). We have a capitalist economic model that is easily applied by most individuals as a means to achieve their goals. We have a public sector that is, over time, responsive to the people. We have the private realm institutions and public sector tools to compete in the global marketplace.
